Let’s dive straight in:

Let us get inside the brain of an artist, and it could be anyone a painter, a photographer, or a sculptor. For me, it will be easy to explain from my experiences, so let us get into a photographer’s head.

I have been a hobbyist photographer with a keen interest in shooting nature and buildings. Whenever I am taking a picture, I always plan my shot. For example, if I am shooting a building, I will walk around that building for a good 10 minutes before even getting my camera out of my bag. Before taking any shot, I always ask myself why I am taking this shot, what exactly I am trying to capture, what do I want to focus on in my composition.

Once I have answered all the above-stated questions, only then I will fire the camera. Sometimes I do end up taking several shots from different angles (all because I spent good 10 minutes to plan my shot).

I can breakdown my process of clicking in the following steps:

  1. Time and Location Selection.
  2. Goals.
  3. Shot Preparation.
  4. Audience.
  5. Visibility.

All this hard work goes into creating some stunning compositions.

I have come up with my 5 Step process for perfect shots with lots of practice/ experience, patience, and tweaking.
